It's a Friday COME ON

World of Warcraft playing will occur, oh yes, it will happen. Yes like many I have found World of Warcraft addicting. I think I'd find WoW more addicting if not for the fact that something fritzes out on my computer soundwise, at this point it's either the speakers OR the Sound Card. I find it unusual that this sound problem on my computer happens only while playing WoW and not on other stuff (like when I am playing music on Windows Media Player, Itunes, etc) though.

E3

E3 coverage is going on, so for the next couple of days I am not gonna post anything. Too many goodies to watch. Though so far the Sony Pre-E3 conference sucked and Nintendo's Pre E3 conference was rocking. Legend of Zelda, the new Super Mario Brothers, Super Metroid, and a game called Project H.A.M.M.E.R that looked very cool. Can't wait to see what Microsoft is gonna have showcased.

E3 Cancelled, WTF

Ok so, through my daily web surfing I heard the news that the next E3 conference for 2007 is likely gonna be cancelled. My response, WHAT THE HECK!. For those not in the know, E3 is pretty much THE event wherein video game publishers present their upcoming games for the year, basically present and future products. More noteably from the e3 conference is the competition that takes place between the big three gaming console companies (Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony). So with the cancellation of the event a multitude of benefits/problems are gonna occur, I could go into it but the following link narrows down the points pretty well:

The Wii/Revolution Details - 250?

Details have been released from various sources, Gamespot, The New York Times, etc. Here are the finer points:

-250 dollar price tag in the US, ouch, can't you all make it just 50 bucks less, geeze.

-Release date of the Wii console will be Nov. 19th, which is two or three days after the PS3's supposed release and also on a Sunday? Yeah I don't know why Sunday either.

-Supplied with console (only color is white before you ask), and it comes with the nunchaku and Wiimote controllers

-25 game launch line-up, Zelda: Twilight Princess being on the list.

and the main info I wanted to hear about. Old NES/SNES/and N64 games. So the online component of the wii is gonna be set up similar to XBOX 360s' point system, so many points will get you so many things. Pretty much each dollar equates to 100 points.

NES game download = 500 points = 5 bucks
SNES game download = 800 points = 8 bucks
N64 game download = 100 points = 10 bucks

Eh, 5 bucks for an NES game....3 bucks maybe but, five is a little steep. That's the big news, for now anyway. Supposedly you'll be able to pick up 20 dollar Wii point cards. Some memory is already built into the Wii console but it looks like yes, you'll have to get some memory cards.

Ignore this last part it's just a reminder list of games I need to download whenever the wii comes out and I actually will buy it.
